| Products and Meds: | |
Below are a few samples of products and medications we use to keep our bettas healthy. The featured above items include: Melafix, pH tester, Baby brine shrimp eggs, quick ick cure, etc. |

| Almond Leaves: | |
|
We use dried almond leaves on a regular basis. A portion of a leaf is placed in each betta jar. Almond leaves are used as treatment and also as a water conditioner. Placing almond leaves in betta jars significantly improves the fish's color, aggression, scale toughness, and overall beauty. Check out this article posted by wangpa on Hmoob.com |

| Food for fry: | |
|
Baby frys require a special diet in order to grow. After the first few days of hatching, most breeders feed the baby frys with Infusoria (micro-organisms found from dead lettuce leafs/plants) or micro worms. Other breeders also use daphnia and more preferably mosquito larvae. At the end of the first week, you can start feeding egg yolks, or live baby brine shrimp (recommended). You can feed your frys with decapsulated baby brine shrimp after the first week of birth (week 2). You should continue to feed the baby betta frys with baby brine shrimp until they are old enough to feed on live foods. |
